Mission
Close the gap between what a supplier declares and what you can prove.
The liability sits with the operator placing goods on the market. The data sits with a cooperative four thousand kilometres away, in a spreadsheet nobody has ever validated. Our job is the unglamorous work in between: read whatever arrives, check every plot, and keep the evidence long enough to matter. That is the whole company.
Where we started
We built sensors. Our customers kept asking a bigger question.
TruSource began as an IoT platform: integrate devices, stream readings, track the metrics that matter. The first thing it was pointed at was cold rooms — automating temperature and humidity readings that were otherwise written on a clipboard twice a day, if anyone remembered.

What we found
Cold chain was the symptom. Trade compliance was the disease.
Every one of those customers had the same shape of problem — an agricultural supply chain from farm to fork that they could not prove anything about. We were solving temperature. Temperature was perhaps a tenth of what was actually at stake. The thing that stopped shipments, and the thing nobody could answer, was whether the produce could be proven compliant at destination.

Where we are
European buyers should be able to trust African produce.
That is the whole thesis. African agricultural produce meets the standard — what it has lacked is the evidence trail to prove it, in the form the importer’s regulator will accept. TruSource is that evidence trail. The IoT platform is where the data infrastructure came from; the compliance product is what it was always for.

Principles we hire for
Defensibility over dashboards
We measure ourselves on whether a statement survives an audit, not on whether the interface is pretty.
Verify, do not assume
A self-declared polygon is a claim. Anything we cannot check, we flag — we do not quietly pass it through.
Say what is not built
We name the regimes and commodities we actually cover. Overstating coverage to a compliance officer is a short game.
Suppliers are not the enemy
Most bad origin data is a mistake, not fraud. The exporter sees the failing check on their own screen, so a supplier is corrected instead of dropped.
