The Origins
In 2024, Peter Kanda and Shalom Nyende, all from Kenya’s maize producing North West region, have always observed firsthand how lack of tracking critical metrics like moisture levels, temperature, and humidity impacted crop growth, harvesting, drying, storage and transportation of agricultural produce.
In the process, we discovered a larger issue, that tracking of critical metrics like temperature, humidity, energy and water consumption in operational dependent sectors like in agriculture, manufacturing and renewable energy were fragmented, manual and complex. This led to the development of Trusource, a unified platform simplifying metrics tracking and providing real-time insights across sectors.
